As you can see, I'm a multidisciplinary Flash Developer with specialization in Interactive VFX / 3D Animation.
I have been using Flash, Photoshop, Maya and After Effects since 1998.
In 2001, I earned a BFA Degree in Visual Communication from Laguna College of Art & Design,
with a focus on Illustration and Graphic Design. I have continued my studies in 3D Animation at
Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood, CA.
In 2004, I started teaching Digital Illustration I & II part-time at Laguna College of Art & Design after freelancing
for over 3 years as an Illustrator / Graphic Designer.
In 2005, I was hired by DNA Studio (now WHITTMANHART Interactive) in Los Angeles as a full time
Flash Developer. During this time, I have refined my programming skills in ActionScript to work on high profile
multi-developer flash projects over the past 3 yrs (as the Interactive VFX / Animation Specialist of our group).
My current ActionScript coding practices and knowledge are built upon my work experiences programming and
animating alongside the superior flash development / programming talents of Chris Colinsky, and many other
great developers both past & present at WHITTMANHART: Scott Boepple, Geoff Gannon, Ben James, Yuegu Hu,
Will Carpenter, Adam York, and Christopher "Kit" Phelps.
I'm looking for a full time agency position in the San Francisco Bay area – I reside in Stanford, CA with my wife.
(I've worked full time in Los Angeles with a 5.5 hr. bi-weekly commute this past year; I'm ready for a change. :)
